Rose Coffee Petit Fours

Rose Coffee Petit Fours with Liquid Fondant and Candied Rose Petals

My rose garden inspired me to come up with this delicious petit flours. I was not sure about the combination but it's out of this world. I will be giving the recipe in the future, today you will get the recipe for candied rose petals.












Ingredients and tools you need

1 ½ tps Meringue Powder or you can use simple syrup or egg whites

½ cup super fine Sugar

1 cup of  powdered sugar

3 tps water

18 to 20 Organic Rose Petals

A small brush

Method

 organic rose petals,  rinsed and patted
 Combine the powdered sugar, meringue powder and water in a mixing bowl.

 Beat on low speed until blended, then beat on high speed 4 minutes or until fluffy.


 If your using egg whites you can skip the above 2 steps and follow the bellow steps.

 Brush this mixture on all sides of the dry rose petals and then dust them with the superfine
 sugar.

Let stands on wire rack for 24 hours to dry
